This high quality, high power miniature 6V gear motor has a 5:1 gear ratio and is similar to Sanyo's popular 12mm gearmotors. The 3mm D-shaped output shaft is 9.3mm long to enable press fitting to many different wheels. Key specs at 6 V: 6000 RPM and 120 mA free-run, 2 oz-in (0.1 kg-cm) and 1.6 A stall.

Designed for operation at 6V the motor is suitable over a range of about 3-9V beyond which the performance or motor life may degrade.
The high power motor produces a shaft speed of 6000RPM and draws 120mA at free-run and 1.6A at stall at 6V. The maximum torque is 2oz-in (0.1kg-cm).
This motor is best suited to propellors or other highspeed applications. The shaft is 3mm with D profile.
Probably not well suited to wheels and encoders. At 6000RPM the robot is most likely to acheive lift off.
Two M1.6 screw holes are available on the face plate of the motor to mount the motor on the inside of a chassis or alternatively the micro metal gearmotor mounting bracket or extended micro metal gearmotor mounting bracket can be used.
