This Infrared IR receiver works with all common remote controls including Sony, Thomson, Sharp, NEC, RC5 RC6 and including the one in our remote control kit.
The tiny package contains all the bits to process incoming IR signals and with only 3 leads it is simple to hook up to microcontroller to add remote control capabilities. It is also very low power so ideal for use from batteries.
